The collection ‘continuance’ is a playful exploration of regenerating dead stock into art. Rejecting trends of mass production and honouring the process of one off creation, it explores the practice of slow fashion and cloth as art on the body.

We are re-defining (the perceived) current nature of ‘wearing’, and believe design is only as good as the relationship we have with the cloth we wear. What does the body have to do with the cloth? Deep ecology shows us that that everything is interconnected, interrelated and interdependent. The process here is to explore this relationship and to deepen our connection to the journey of each piece. Part of the ethos of Soltys Label is that each step in this chapter of the creative journey of the cloth is taken with integrity and is respecting nature and the environment. Soltys Label is looking forward towards a future in fashion that is sustainable and regenerative. A future where luxury and respect for the environment can co-exist……where our natural environment doesn’t need to be compromised in order to make beautiful, timeless wearable art.
